CCBO was founded in 1983 as the National Council of Community College Business Officers. An Affiliated Council of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) since 1984, CCBO has been serving the needs of business officers nationwide through conferences, leadership programs, professional development and networking opportunties.

Mission Statement:

CCBO provides educational and professional support, networking opportunities, and other resources to hlep current and future business officers and other professionals better prepare for successful roles in the business, administrative, and service enterprises of community colleges in the United States and Canada.
